Karen ‘Dr.K’ Baptiste grew up in the Bronx (aka The Boogie Down) in New York City. She's had a life-long passion for television and studied Journalism at Morrisville State University in New York.
She attended the Miami Acting Studio and continues to train at the Actor’s Green Room. Karen has produced shows such as Island Trivia and the Love, Lies & Lifestyles podcast. She has also collaborated with Allure Magazine to discuss the importance of women’s beauty and self-image. She appeared in the film Burden, Puppy Love, and the web series, Shiny New Things. Dr. K directed and produced her first documentary, Preschool to Prison, now streaming on Fox Soul, Amazon Prime, and Kweli TV.
